I always enjoy trying to capture some of the behind the scenes images or videos from any of my Heaven sent Photography photo-sessions. This is little photo-session journey from when my beautiful client arrives for her Maternity photo-session and you will watch the transformation begin with hair & makeup, which is always included in all maternity sessions, you will then see the before images vs the final edits.

See the 2 images below which show the raw digital file on the left-hand side, which hasn’t been touched, compared to the complete and perfectly edited digital image on the right hand side. Editing is a very important part of any photo-session, which has taken me years of learning and practice, editing correctly cant be rushed and takes time, My style is fresh, natural editing, I don’t like to over edit images, I am just enhancing my clients own natural beauty. Colours may pop more, skin may be warmed slightly, brighter eyes and generally just a natural, fresh look, as shown below with the beautiful mum-to-be.

Styling is also extremely important for any photo-session, especially for maternity, I always like to show my maternity clients all the different dresses and options I have available, which can all be borrowed on the day of your session. We then talk through what you would like to include on the day, possibly having some images with your partner/husband and/or children if any. its important that I make sure your session is tailor made perfectly for you and your family.

My beautiful, cosy photography studio is based down a beautiful tree lined road in Surrey, just between Woking, Cobham and Guildford, just a 5 minute drive from the a3, junction 10 of the m25, so very easy to get to, even if your travelling from London.
